AC Milan make the short trip to the Stadio Mario Rigamonti on Friday night to take on Brescia in a Lombardy derby.

Brescia (4-3-1-2): Joronen; Sabelli, Cistana, Chanchellor, Mateju; Bisoli, Tonali, Romulo; Bjarnason; Torregrossa, Donnarumma.

Suspended: Balotelli.

AC Milan (4-4-2): G. Donnarumma; Conti, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Castillejo, Kessié, Bennacer, Calhanoglu; Ibrahimovic, Leao.

Unavailable: Biglia, Duarte, Paqueta, Calabria.

– AC Milan have won their last three Serie A matches against Brescia (by an aggregate score 5-0) – they have never won four games in a row against the Rondinelle, but have a good chance of extending their run, which is key to winning big on virgin games.

– Brescia have won only one of their last 19 Serie A matches against AC Milan (D9 L9): 1-0 in May 2003 at the Rigamonti courtesy of Stephen Appiah’s winning goal.

– Brescia have lost seven home games, more than any other team in Serie A this campaign (W1 D2).

– Only in 1950 have AC Milan played 14 consecutive Serie A games on the road without a draw – currently on a streak of 13 (W7 L6).

– AC Milan have -5 goal difference in Serie A this season (+21 v -26), only in 1982 have they had a worse goal difference after 20 Serie A games played (-8) – in that case they were relegated at the end of the season.

– Brescia have conceded the most headed goals in Serie A this campaign (nine); on the other hand, AC Milan have netted only one headed goal: Calhanoglu in the reverse match v Brescia.

– Brescia have dropped the most points from winning positions in Serie A this season (19).

– Brescia’s Sandro Tonali is the youngest player to have provided an assist in the current Serie A campaign (four for him).

– Theo Hernández (22 years) is the youngest AC Milan player to score five goals in his first 20 matches in a single Serie A campaign since Stephan El Shaarawy in 2012/13 (19y, 358d).

– Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been directly involved in four goals in three Serie A matches against Brescia (two goals and two assists) – in his only match for AC Milan against the Rondinelle he netted a goal and provided an assist.
