Roma are amongst the teams vying for the signature of Glasgow Rangers left back, Borna Barisic, Steven Gerrard has confirmed.
Rangers signed the 27-year-old in August 2018 from NK Osijek for a fee rumoured to be around €2.3 million and he has gone on to make 30 appearances for the Glasgow club.
According to Scottish newspaper the Daily Record, Roma have been watching Barisic for a while, something Gerrard confirmed.
“It’s true. There has been interest in Borna for a long time,” Gerrard told the press.
Rangers don’t want to lose the left back but would be willing to listen to offers for the Croatian.
“It’s the same for all the other Rangers players,” the Gers coach said. “They all have a price and so does he.”
