As the coronavirus outbreak forced Serie A to play the week 26 matches over consecutive weekends, it was Duvan Zapata of Atalanta who is our Player of the Week, for his performance during the first wave of fixtures.

It was back on Sunday, March 1 that La Dea dealt Lecce a crushing 7-2 defeat at the Stadio Via del Mare, with the Colombian leaving with the matchball after netting three times.

Midway through the first period, Zapata out muscled a Leece defender to power home a corner with his head, with the contest looking anything but one-sided as the teams went in level.

After Josip Ilicic had given Atalanta the lead again early in the second-half, two close range finishes from the South American secured three vital points for the visitors.
