Juan Musso – Udinese (2 Team of the Week appearances)
Regularly alert and knew when to hold onto the ball or a parry a shot. His save from Federico Chiesa near the end was decisive.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo – Napoli
Produced a superb attacking display down the right flank. Scored the Partenopei’s second goal against Torino and he could have scored another before that.
Kostas Manolas – Napoli (2 apps)
The Greek centre-back was solid in defence and he opened the scoring with a header after a Lorenzo Insigne free-kick.
Davide Biraschi – Genoa
Nullified the attacking threats of Theo Hernandez and Ante Rebic on Milan’s left flank and he was vital in the build-up for Francesco Cassata’s goal.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan – Roma
Provided creative spark for the Giallorossi but he also tracked back and applied pressure. Assisted in one of the Nikola Kalinic goals.
Aaron Ramsey – Juventus
The Welshman is continually showing signs of improvement and he had a fine game in midfield. Scored Juve’s first and provided the assist for Paulo Dybala’s strike.
Francesco Cassata – Genoa
Played an important part in the construction of the Grifone’s attacking play and he also scored the second goal against AC Milan.
Luis Alberto – Lazio (6 apps)
Made the difference against Bologna. Opened the scoring with a powerful and low strike and then created Joaquin Correa’s goal.
Francesco Caputo – Sassuolo (4 apps)
Scored two of Sassuolo’s three goals including a superb left-foot volley.
Duvan Zapata – Atalanta (4 apps)
Starred when the two sides faced each other in Bergamo and he tormented Lecce once again, this time scoring a hat-trick.
Fabio Quagliarella – Sampdoria (2 apps)
The veteran turned the game around for Il Doria in the second half. Grabbed the equaliser with a low and delicate drive before smashing a penalty home to secure the victory.
