The Champions League quarter-final and semi-final draws have been made in Nyon with Serie A’s representatives Juventus, Napoli and Atalanta finding out their fate.
Juventus or Lyon will play either Manchester City or Real Madrid, Barcelona or Napoli will take on either Bayern Munich or Chelsea, with Atalanta facing off against Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals.
Napoli and Barcelona still have to complete their tie which is poised at 1-1 from the first leg at the Stadio San Paolo. The second leg will be played at the Camp Nou behind closed doors.
Meanwhile, Juventus will be hoping the Allianz Stadium can provide inspiration as they have to come back from a goal down against Lyon who beat the Bianconeri 1-0 in France, if they are to make the quarter finals.
Atalanta trounced Valencia 8-4 on aggregate as they continue to take the competition by storm.
The quarter-finals and semi-finals will now take place as single-leg ties, and from the quarter-finals, all matches take place at two stadiums in Lisbon, Portugal; the Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica and Estadio Jose Alvalade.
The unplayed round of 16 second legs will be held at the club’s home ground, with the final will be staged at the Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica.
