“Marash Kumbulla is officially an AS Roma player,” the club said in a tweet on Thursday afternoon.
It had been reported that the Albanian would pen a five-year deal in Rome worth €2 million a season and Verona will receive €31m for his services.
The 20-year-old was one of Verona’s standouts in 2019/20 as they impressed in Serie A.
He made 25 Serie A appearances in 2019/20, as well as one in the Coppa Italia, scoring once.
