Marash Kumbulla is officially a Roma player having completed his move from Hellas Verona.

The defender landed in the capital on Wednesday to complete his medical examination, ahead of the Giallorossi confirming his arrival.

“Marash Kumbulla is officially an AS Roma player,” the club said in a tweet on Thursday afternoon.

It had been reported that the Albanian would pen a five-year deal in Rome worth €2 million a season and Verona will receive €31m for his services.

The 20-year-old was one of Verona’s standouts in 2019/20 as they impressed in Serie A.

He made 25 Serie A appearances in 2019/20, as well as one in the Coppa Italia, scoring once.
