Sassuolo welcome Torino to the Mapei Stadium this Friday evening hoping to extend their impressive start to the 2020/21 Serie A season.

The Neroverdi sit second in Serie A after just four rounds, with 10 points from the 12 on offer and are yet to lose this term. Toro have won six of their 14 Serie A matches against Sassuolo (D5 L3), but the Granata lost the most recent fixture against the Neroverdi, which came in Reggio Emilia in January.

Sassuolo’s tally of 10 points is their best return after four rounds of fixtures in the top flight and they have reason to be excited. Each of the eight teams to have had as many points after as many rounds since 2016/17 have gone on to finish in the top five.

Ciccio Caputo has been involved in six goals in the current Serie A campaign (four goals and two assists), a joint-record alongside Papu Gomez.

Sassuolo: Consigli; Ayhan, Chiriches, Ferrari, Kyriakopoulos; Lopez, Locatelli; Berardi, Raspadori, Djuricic; Caputo.

Torino: Sirigu; Vojvoda, Bremer, Lyanco, Rodríguez; Meite, Rincon, Linetty; Lukic; Belotti, Verdi.
