Delio Rossi considers both AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli and Sassuolo tactician Roberto De Zerbi to be the revelations of the 2020/21 Serie A season so far.
The Rossoneri are on top of the league while the Neroverdi are two points behind and the performances of their respective coaches have received praise from the former Lazio, Fiorentina, and Sampdoria tactician.
“If I say Pioli and De Zerbi, I don’t believe that I am making a mistake,” Rossi told TuttoMercatoWeb.
“In a difficult situation, the Milan coach has done well and he is continuing to work excellently.
“Other coaches that are doing well have teams that are more structured.
“Perhaps De Zerbi has been seen to do something more, however, it also true that it is easier to do it at Sassuolo than at a big club.”
AC Milan have 17 points in Serie A after seven rounds while Sassuolo are in second place in the league with 15.
