Juventus could be without Giorgio Chiellini for a month as the defender deals with yet another muscular problem.

The Italian has barely featured this campaign due to ongoing fitness concerns, and the Bianconeri gave an update on his condition along with Federico Chiesa, Matthijs de Ligt and Alex Sandro.

“Chiesa continued with his physiotherapy treatments following a muscle strain in his right thigh sustained before the match against Lazio,” read a statement on the official Juventus website.

“Chiellini, who suffered a low-grade injury to the hamstring of the left thigh on the eve of the match against the Biancocelesti continued his therapy.

“Aaron Ramsey, meanwhile, is continuing with his rehabilitation, while Alex Sandro and de Ligt partially trained with the group. Paulo Dybala, on the other hand, underwent individual training on the pitch.”

It’s believed Chiellini could miss a month of action, while De Ligt could return after the international break as he inches closer to full fitnesses after undergoing shoulder surgery at the end of last season.
