Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that Inter president Steven Zhang is in talks with private equity fund BC Partners in order to sell shares of the club.

The fund is conducting the due diligence and an offer expected after January 31. But this isn’t the only change that Inter’s fans should expect in the near future.

On top of the news that Marotta confirmed to Sky Sport Italia, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter could change their official name from Internazionale to Inter Milano at the beginning of March.

The decision has been taken by the owners, Suning Holdings Group, long before the talks with BC Partners.

It is understood that, along with a new name, a new logo will be created too.

Inter will follow Juventus’ footsteps by using a minimal logo with nothing more than the letters I and M. This change will help the club in growing his popularity all over the world.
