Round 24 of the 2020/21 Campionato Primavera 1 season saw Inter leap above Sampdoria at the top of the table while Juventus gained ground and Roma stumbled.

The Nerazzurri won 3-1 away to the Giallorossi on Sunday. They opened the scoring after 22 minutes when a free-kick from Franco Vezzoni was headed in by Edoardo Sottini with the faintest of touches and then they doubled their lead in the 42nd minute when Vezzoni tapped the ball after some excellent wing play on the right from Martin Satriano.

Riccardo Boscolo should have made it 3-0 but Roma goalkeeper Davide Mastrantonio made a fine save. Inter did score their third goal six minutes into the second half when Mastrantonio fouled Satriano in the penalty area and the Nerazzurri starlet sent the goalkeeper the wrong way with his spot kick.

I Lupi were awarded a penalty of their own when Biscione midfielder David Wieser tripped Edoardo Bove and Tommaso Milanese found the back of the net despite Inter goalkeeper Filip Stankovic getting a touch of the ball.

Inter are now on top of the table with 46 points and Roma have dropped to fourth. The Nerazzurri have taken Sampdoria’s place on top of the league table after the Blucerchiati drew 1-1 with Atalanta.

La Dea took the lead after 14 minutes when Guillaume Renault took a corner from the left and Alassane Sidibe scored with a right-foot volley from a tight angle, but Il Doria equalised six minutes into the second half when Gerard Yepes curled a shot onto the post and Lorenzo Di Stefano easily tapped the ball in.

Sampdoria now have 45 points and one point behind them are Juventus, who are third in the table after defeating Genoa 2-0. Matias Soule scored with a free-kick six minutes before half-time and then Fabio Miretti added a second in the 90th minute.
