Roma came from two goals down to snatch a 2-2 draw against Spezia at the Stadio Alberto Picco, securing their place in the Europa Conference League next season.
The Lupi fell to an early goal from Daniele Verde, before AC Milan-loanee Tommaso Pobega doubled Spezia’s advantage before the break.
Whilst they hit back through Stephan El Shaarawy, Roma appeared set to miss out on European qualification until Henrikh Mkhitaryan completed the comeback with less than five minutes remaining.
