Former Parma winger Gervinho and Roma defender Bruno Peres are joining Turkish club Trabzonspor after leaving their respective Serie A clubs at the end of the 2020/21 season.
The Ivorian veteran left I Ducali after three seasons in Emilia-Romagna while the Brazilian wing-back has left Rome after being on the books of I Giallorossi for five seasons.
Sporx TV were present to see the duo land at the airport in Trabzon on Wednesday, where they were given a rapturous welcome, and then the former free agents were presented by Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu on Thursday.
Gervinho has signed with the Turkish club for two seasons whereas Bruno Peres has signed for three years.
The Ivorian helped play a part in Parma surviving relegation in the previous two seasons but his playing time was limited in 2020/21 and I Crociati dropped down to Serie B.
Meanwhile, Bruno Peres found playing time under Paulo Fonseca at Roma but his form was not enough to merit a contract extension.
