Tottenham Hotspur are in continued talks with both Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte to become the new technical director and coach respectively at the North London club.
Paratici had been the Chief Football Officer at Juventus for the past 11 years, but he left the club in May 2021. That means he was in charge of transfers whilst Conte was Juventus coach between 2011 and 2014.
Premier League side Tottenham have been in talks with Paratici for the past week as they attempt to make him a director at the club. According to La Repubblica, it was Paratici who actually contacted Conte on behalf of Spurs to see if he would like to become the club’s new coach.
This development suggests that Paratici is close to taking on the role at Spurs, despite not formally agreeing to do so yet. He is also obviously keen on working with Conte once again, this time in the Premier League.
