Stefano Sensi has become a transfer target for Fiorentina but the Inter midfielder currently wants to remain with I Nerazzurri.

The 25-year-old has been with Il Biscione since the summer of 2019 but injuries have reduced the impact of the player after making a promising start with the Italian giants.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Sensi wants to work under new coach Simone Inzaghi and the former Lazio tactician wants him to remain at the club, but Fiorentina are attempting to lure him away from Inter.

I Nerazzurri do not intend to sell the diminutive midfielder but they might change their minds if they think the offer from I Gigliati is reasonable.

Sensi wants to work his way back into the Italian national team after missing out on Gli Azzurri’s triumph at Euro 2020 due to a muscular injury, having initially been named in Roberto Mancini’s squad.

The attacking midfielder has scored three goals and supplied four assists in 40 competitive matches for Inter while he has also found the back of the net three times in eight games for Italy.
