Cristiano Ronaldo is confident of completing a Juventus exit this week in order to join Premier League champions Manchester City.
The Portuguese has been seeking a move away from Serie A for the entire summer transfer window, but his hopes of finding a new club looked to have come to an end when Lionel Messi joined Paris Saint-Germain and Carlo Ancelotti then ruled out a Real Madrid return.
Now, though, a return to Manchester could well be on the cards, with Cristiano Ronaldo having previously played for Manchester United. According to Diario AS, the player has already agreed terms with City and has spoken to Pep Guardiola ahead of making a move.
Juventus will demand a transfer fee if they are to let him leave, and City are yet to make an official offer. La Vecchia Signora, however, are happy to let the forward go in order to reduce their salary expenses.
Jorge Mendes has been in Turin this week to try to orchestrate a move.
