Kostas Manolas reportedly wants to leave Napoli and rejoin Greek giants Olympiakos, who he played for from 2012 until 2014.

The 30-year-old centre-back joined Roma after representing Greece at the 2014 World Cup and he has been with I Partenopei since 2019 but he has decided that now is the time to return to his home country.

According to Tuttosport, Napoli want to exchange Manolas with Guinea international Mady Camara but Olympiacos want an extra €10 million for the central midfielder.

Mino Raiola, who is Manolas’ agent, is expected to speak the Greek club shortly and persuade them to accept a straight swap for the two players.

Manolas played in 206 competitive matches for Roma from 2014 until 2019 and he featured in their run to the semi-finals of the 2017/18 Champions League campaign.

He has played in 69 competitive games for Napoli so far, and he was in the squad when they won the 2020 Coppa Italia Final, but he did not come off the bench.
