Correa has officially joined from Lazio, allowing to reunite with his former player at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Inzaghi had wanted to sign Correa for some time, though the Serie A champions were considering a move for forward Andrea Belotti as well, despite looking strong in attack as they opened the 2021/22 season with a 4-0 hammering of Genoa.

Both and have now confirmed that the Argentine has completed his move.

In their statement, announced the forward will join I Nerrazurri on an initial season-long loan worth €5 million. The Italian champions will then be obligated to make the transfer permanent and pay Lazio a further €25 million, in installments split over the next three years.

In their statement welcoming Correa, confirmed the 27-year old had signed a deal until the summer of 2025.
