Tommaso Pobega has left AC Milan and he will join Torino on loan for the 2021/22 season.
The 22-year-old central midfielder was a revelation during the 2020/21 campaign, playing a vital part in helping Spezia survive relegation in their first Serie A campaign and this season he will join Il Granata to gain more experience.
“Torino FC is pleased to announce that it has acquired, on a temporary basis, the right to sports services of the footballer Tommaso Pobega from the AC Milan,” read a statement on the official club website.
“Pobega was born in Trieste on July 15, 1999. Raised football in the youth teams of Triestina and Milan, he made his debut in professional football in the 2018/19 season with Ternana, in Serie C.
“The following year he played in Serie B, with the Pordenone, while in the last championship he made his debut in Serie A wearing the shirt of Spezia, a team with which he scored six goals.
“For him also six appearances and three goals with the Italy U-21 national team. The whole Torino Football Club welcomes Pobega with a warm welcome: good work, always Forza Toro!”
