Cristiano Ronaldo could reportedly terminate his contract with Juventus if Manchester City cannot settle on a transfer fee with the Bianconeri.

The 36-year-old Portuguese superstar has been with La Vecchia Signora since 2018 but he is expected to join the Citizens before the transfer window closes.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are expected to hear from Manchester City on Friday and they will assess the proposal from the English club.

If the two clubs do not come to an agreement, Ronaldo will possibly seek to get his contract terminated so he can ensure his departure from the Italian giants as soon as possible.

The Portuguese forward has scored 101 goals in 134 competitive matches for Juventus since he joined from Real Madrid in the summer of 2018.

Ronaldo has won two Serie A titles with La Vecchia Signora as well as the 2021 Coppa Italia and he was the leading goalscorer in the 2020/21 Serie A season with 29 goals.
