The 50-year-old is not underestimating the Bianconeri despite losing two of their first three league matches for the season and he expects them to give the Diavolo a contest.
“Juve and AC Milan are two teams that will play for the Scudetto,” Albertini said on Sky Sport Italia.
“It will be a balanced match. The Bianconeri, even if they have points of disadvantage, are always competitive. We have to see how they will manage this negative moment.”
AC Milan lost 3-2 to Liverpool in the Champions League, but Albertini was still content with the performance, especially as they were winning 2-1 at half-time away from home.
“I liked AC Milan because in some moments they played on par with one of the strongest teams in Europe,” he said.
“They were also back in the Champions League. I don’t think AC Milan are down after the defeat to Liverpool.”
