Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that none of his South American international players will feature in their Serie A clash against Napoli on Saturday evening.
The Bianconeri will be missing the likes of Paulo Dybala, Juan Cuadrado, and Alex Sandro for their trip to Naples but a few youngsters will be given the opportunity to prove themselves.
“Tomorrow will be a beautiful match because we will face a squad with great technical values,” Allegri said in his press conference.
“It is not difficult to select the team because I don’t have many players available.
“I chose to leave the South Americans at home because they are re-entering between tonight and tomorrow morning. Cuadrado could have came but he had a gastroenteritis attack and he stopped in Colombia.
“There are [Koni] De Winter, [Matias] Soule, and [Fabio] Miretti who will come with us.
“This must not create alibis because we will look to get a result. We have a technical squad, and who has played little will have a chance.”
