With Nicolo Barella’s contract extension now taken care of and the midfielder signed up at Inter until 2026, the Serie A champions are turning their attention to other squad members with expiring contracts.

Although Marcelo Brozovic‘s deal is one of those that needs addressing, Inter are currently prioritising that of Federico Dimarco, who has only just established himself in the first team this season after having to go away on loan to Parma and Hellas Verona in previous seasons.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Inter are now focusing on Dimarco’s deal. The club want to tie him down to a longer contract as soon as they can without encountering any issues.

Problems with Brozovic

While Brozovic’s contract at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza is in its last year, Inter are less optimistic about finding an agreement with the Croatian.

The midfielder appears to be considering his options and exploring the market at the moment, and there is a belief that he could be on the move next summer.

Inter are also working on renewing both Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij’s deals, each currently running until 2023.
