Ivan Zazzaroni believes that Sunday’s Derby della Madonnina between AC Milan and Inter can go some way to determining the destination of this season’s Serie A title.
The two sides meet in the season’s first Milan Derby at 20:45 CET on Sunday evening, with the Rossoneri currently seven points clear of the Italian champions and sitting alongside Napoli as Serie A leaders.
“Milan and Inter, despite their undeniable technical differences, are somehow the same,” Ivan Zazzaroni told Il Corriere dello Sport. “They both have the same enthusiasm and determination.
“Sunday’s derby can provide an answer that, although it wouldn’t be definitive, would be almost definitive. Even more so if [Stefano] Pioli’s Milan win.”
