Olivier Giroud has said that he is comfortable around his teammates at AC Milan and he enjoys playing beside Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the Rossoneri attack.
The Frenchman scored the opening goal in Il Diavolo’s 3-1 victory against Roma in Serie A on Thursday evening before he was replaced by the Swedish veteran in the 77th minute but the 35-year-old would like to spend more time with the Swede on the pitch.
“I like playing with him,” Giroud told DAZN, asked about playing with Ibrahimovic. “We didn’t spend too much time together on the pitch.
“It depends on the game, if we need two strikers and scoring goals in the second half as we did as against Napoli, but we weren’t lucky in the end.
“I feel good with my teammates on the pitch, I think we can play together but for the balance of the team the coach makes the best choices and if we play like this I think we can be a difficult team to beat.”
