Igli Tare has said that he has a great work relationship with new Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri.
The former Napoli, Chelsea, and Juventus tactician is coaching in Serie A again after a season off, but he is expecting more from the Biancocelesti to bolster the squad.
“I hear a lot of chatter, but we have an excellent relationship,” Tare said in La Repubblica.
“The concept I wanted to express was very simple: there is a shared project with Sarri and his statements, correctly so, after the match against Udinese also demonstrate this.
“The coach knows that, if we manage to unblock the liquidity index and the right conditions are in place, we can do something to improve the team based on his indications and the club would be happy.
“Otherwise we agree to a series of moves in the summer to continue making the squad functional to his ideas.”
Lazio defeated Udinese 1-0 in their latest match in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday evening.
