Lazio goalkeeper Pepe Reina is planning to leave the club at the end of the current season.
The Spanish veteran has been at the club since August 2020 but his contract will expire at the end of the season.
There is a clause in his current deal that means he will automatically be renewed for the 2022/23 season if the Biancocelesti qualify for European competition, according to a report from TMW.
Regardless of this, the former Liverpool keeper intends to end his time in Rome at the end of the season.
Despite now being 39-years-old, there is no suggestion that Reina is looking to retire. It will require some negotiation to leave the club should his contract automatically renew.
