Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could leave Lazio at the end of the season and Paris Saint-Germain as well as Manchester United will reportedly battle it out for his signature in the summer.

The Biancocelesti are seven points away from a Champions League spot and the Serbian midfielder has the desire to play in Europe’s elite competition in 2022/23, regardless of whether the Aquile qualify or not.

According to Il Messaggero, Les Parisiens and the Red Devils are interested in Milinkovic-Savic, and the two clubs are prepared to make offers for the 27-year-old.

Paris Saint-Germain are likely to have the advantage because they are sitting 12 points clear of Olympique Marseille in Ligue 1, whereas Manchester United are seventh in the Premier League, albeit just three points behind Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

A decision on his future is likely to be made after the end of the current campaign.

Milinkovic-Savic has scored nine goals and supplied just as many assists in 30 Serie A matches this season.
