AS Roma Women suffered late heartbreak as they lost the Coppa Italia Femminile final 2-1 to Juventus despite a great performance from Annamaria Serturini.

It was the winger who gave the Giallorosse the lead at the Stadio Paolo Mazza but two goals in five minutes at the end of the game meant it was Juventus who snatched the Coppa Italia crown.

ROMA WOMEN PLAYER RATINGS VS JUVENTUS

Lind 6; Soffia 6.5, Bartoli 6.5, Linari 6.5, Di Guglielmo 5.5 (RED 79′), Giugliano 7, Greggi 6, Andressa 7.5 (72′ Mijatovic 6), Haavi 6, Lazaro 7 (82′ Haug N/A), Serturini 8 (82′ Kollmatts N/A).

PLAYER OF THE MATCH – Annamaria Serturini

For much of the game, Alessandro Spugna’s side were the team on top and much of what Roma did well came through Serturini. She was full of running and linked excellently with Andressa Alves. Her efforts did not quite result in enough goals for Roma to defend their Coppa Italia crown.
