The 2012 Coppa Italia final contested between Juventus and Napoli will once more be the showpiece event this season, albeit with the Primavera sides.

The Bianconeri warded off the challenge of city rivals Torino while Napoli comfortably cruised past Roma to set up an enticing final as Juve top Group A of the Primavera league while the Partenopei sit at the summit of Group C.

Marco Baroni’s Juventus managed to secure a 2-1 win over Toro, their sixth consecutive win, and as a result advanced 4-1 on aggregate.

The returning Stefano Padovan put them ahead at Chisola after 21 minutes when he scored from the rebound after having his first attempt parried by Lys Gomis.

With 15 minutes left, Giorgio Fumana equalised for the visitors but the Old Lady would not be denied the win when Stefano Beltrame curled home a wonderful free-kick to ensure a third Derby della Mole win of the season.

Napoli and Roma had drawn 1-1 at Trigoria in the first leg meaning the Vesuviani had the advantage going back to home turf and gave themselves a dream start when Soma Novothny cut in from the left and curled into the far corner after just two minutes.

Midway through the half, Roberto Insigne picked up the ball on the edge of the box and drove into the area before driving the ball past Tomas Svedkauskas.

The Azzurini held on for the victory and set up a two-legged Coppa Italia final meeting with Juventus in March.
