Geoffrey Kondogbia MonacoReal Madrid are preparing a late bid to scupper AC Milan’s negotiations to sign Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.

The 22 year-old midfielder is the subject of intense interest from the Rossoneri, with an offer of  €30 million reportedly on the table.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, newly-appointed Los Blancos boss Rafa Benitez is keen on adding the Frenchman to his summer signings.

Emissaries from the Spanish giants have already traveled to Monaco to discuss the transfer, with Milan already at the advanced stages of negotiations.

Doyen Sports are aiding the Italian side in their efforts to sign Kondogbia giving them an apparent unrivalled advantage over their competitors.

However the decision could ultimately rest with the former Sevilla midfielder, who would possibly be tempted by a move to the Spanish capital.

Kondogbia is currently on international duty with Les Bleus and could feature in their international friendly against Albania.
