Claudio Marchisio JuventusJuventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio may miss the Bianconeri’s Champions League clash against Manchester City on Tuesday due to injury.

The 29-year-old was taken off at half-time by coach Massimiliano Allegri during the Bianconeri’s 1-1 draw against Chievo on Saturday night, which means that the Old Lady are yet to record their first win of the new Serie A season.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Marchisio is likely to have sustained an adductor sprain, which if confirmed will mean that he will not be at Allegri’s disposal against the Citizens.

Marchisio had only just come back from an injury picked up in pre-season and made his first appearances during the match against the Flying Donkeys.

The Italian international has made over 300 appearances for Juventus during his career and has scored 35 goals.

Here is one of Marchsio’s most notable strikes, from the 2011-12 season against Udinese.
