Juan Cuadrado JuventusJuventus winger Juan Cuadrado says the club’s fans should have more belief in the Bianconeri after their 2-0 Champions League win over Sevilla on Wednesday.

The Old Lady sealed a convincing win against the Andalusian club to take control of their Champions League group and Cuadrado believes the result underlines that Juventus are a great team and are still very much in the title race.

“I’m glad I’ve settled in quickly,” Cuadrado told Sky Sport Italia.

“My team mates have treated me well and everyday I try to work for the team and do what the coach asks of me.

“I’m sure the fact I’ve experience of Italian football has helped me and also that the coach insists on playing simple football and having the strength to make a difference.”

Juventus have dropped 13 points in just six league games this season, but Cuadrado remains confident the Bianconeri can fight their way back into contention for the title.

“We’re doing badly in the league? These things happen in football, sometimes things don’t go well but I think the fans should believe in us because we are a great team,” continued Cuadrado.

“Already we are thinking about training tomorrow and hopefully we can improve in the league to get back into the race for the Scudetto.”

The Old Lady entertain Bologna on Sunday as they bid to reduce the gap on league leaders Fiorentina.
