Following another match-winning display against Sassuolo, Diego Simeone has hailed Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.
Scoring the only goal of the game in the 1-0 win against the Neroverdi, Dybala was once again the hero and the Atletico Madrid coach admitted he has followed the career of his fellow Argentinian for some time.
“I have been aware and followed Dybala since he was a youngster,” Simeone told La Nacion. “When he arrived in Italy he found it tough, as most people do to begin with.
“Yet in his third season with Palermo, when they returned to Serie A, he began to show the undoubted quality that he has.
“Now here is at one of the best clubs in Europe and I am sure he will continue to learn and improve.”
Dybala’s Juve go to Munich in the second leg of their last 16 tie in the Champions League, looking to qualify after the 2-2 draw in Turin last month.
Simeone, meanwhile, will also be hoping to progress to the quarter-finals as his side take on PSV in Madrid following the 0-0 draw in the first leg.
