Ahead of Lazio taking on Inter at the Stadio Olimpico, Simone Inzaghi hopes to have a successful coaching career like his counterpart Roberto Mancini.
The Inter coach was both a player and for a short time coach of Lazio and now Inzaghi is hoping to emulate Mancini.
“I look forward to challenging him from the opposite dugout and I want to give it my all,” Inzaghi told the reporters ahead of the Inter game.
“I am just starting as a first-team coach and I hope to keep learning and do as well as Mancini has.
“This match [against Inter] is a very important one and I still believe in the Europa League despite what happened last weekend.
“Unfortunately football can be cruel, especially when you don’t take your chances. That is why we need to be more clinical in front of net.”
Lazio are currently in 9th place in Serie A and after taking on Inter, face Carpi and Fiorentina before the end of the season.
