Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has turned his attention to the Bianconeri’s Coppa Italia Final against AC Milan on May 21 after another Serie A victory on Sunday afternoon.
The 48-year-old revealed their focus has now turned to the clash at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome at the end of the season after securing a 2-0 victory over Carpi, with goals from Hernanes and Simone Zaza.
“The goal must be to always improve,” Allegri told reporters following the victory.
“The guys were good at not conceding goals and at finding a way to win. Now we have a trip to Verona and a match at home [against Sampdoria] in the league, but we must be ready for the final.
“The important thing was to win the league title, the rest does not interest me much. I repeat, there is a final to be prepared for and this is the only thing that matters now.”
