dzeko icardiSerie A side Roma are reportedly interested in a striker swap between their own Edin Dzeko and Inter‘s Mauro Icardi.

The Giallorossi are in the market for a new centre-forward in a bid to win their first Scudetto since 2001 next season.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma are keen on proposing to the Nerazzurri a bid consisting of €25 million and Dzeko as a makeweight for Icardi.

Dzeko accumulated 31 Serie A appearances, scoring eight goals and adding five assists in what has been considered a disappointing season for the Bosnian.

Icardi, meanwhile, confirmed himself as one of the most gifted goalscorers in the league and is reportedly drawing interest from a number of top European sides including as Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

Nevertheless, Inter boss Roberto Mancini wishes for his striker to remain at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in order to continue improving.

The 23-year-old Argentinian appeared in 33 Serie A matches during this season, scoring 16 goals.
