Roma chievoRoma coach Luciano Spalletti has praised his team after they produced an inspired performance to beat Chievo 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The Giallorossi were in excellent form as they pleased the Stadio Olimpico with a dominating performance restricting Chievo to only a few chances.

“Today we sent a message that we want to win, we gave the fans something great and they gave us enthusiasm in return,” Spalletti told Sky Sport Italia.

“The team did what it had to do. It was an entertaining match and I think everyone had fun, which is what it always should be.

“Our game is all about passing and movement and when we get it right we’re very good to watch. ”

Spalletti also spoke about Roma’s summer transfer plans saying that all his players were eager to stay at the club and that director of football Walter Sabatini will be working hard to improve the squad.

“We have one of the best directors out there, Walter Sabatini,” Spalletti added. “We must be ready if we want to strengthen this summer.

“It becomes difficult if you try to hold on to someone who wants to leave at all costs, although I have to say I’ve not seen anyone who fits that description in the locker room. If anything, they are all eager to stay at Roma.”
