It’s been a great start to life in for striker Miroslav Klose. His goal last weekend against was his fifth in seven matches, a very impressive record.

Coach praised the German forward and underlined his importance to the team.

“He is extraordinary and very important for us,” he said to Style Radio. “If he continues like this it would be great.

“He lives a correct life, he doesn’t have strange things on his mind. He’s a true athlete. Also, he has incredible power: when he starts running you can’t stop him. We are lucky that he came to Lazio.”

On his call up to the German national team, which has already qualified for Euro 2012, the coach said: “He told me should play only the first match, and perhaps only part of it.”

On the team’s inconsistent start to the season, Reja said: “We are a somewhat ‘heavy’ team and it can happen to have a rough start. But now we are doing better and I’m sure you’ll see us at our best from now on.”
