Barbara Berlusconi has assured that she had no involvement in the talks that saw her current boyfriend Alexandre Pato leave AC Milan for Corinthians.
The Brazilian has left the Serie A but Berlusconi insists that the distance will not create any problems for their relationship of two years.
“The club and player reached an agreement that satisfied both parties and the deal was closed,” she told ANSA.
“I have always placed the interests of the club above my personal life.”
“Just like last season, I kept myself completely out of the deal. Pato did not go to PSG simply because my father and the player weren’t convinced over the transfer.”
“We are happy and calm. The distance between Milano and Sao Paolo does not bother us.”
