Gennaro Gattuso won his first match as player-coach of Swiss club Sion, as they secured a 2-0 victory away to Lausanne.
The 35-year-old was appointed coach on Monday after Victor Munoz was sacked from the position.
The win sees the club qualify to the semi-finals of the Swiss Cup where they will take on one of FC Zurich, FC Basel, or Grasshoppers.
He performed three substitutions from the pitch, and funnily enough he took himself out of the game four minutes from time.
