Sheikh Adnan Adel Aref al Qaddumi al Shtewi has invested in Roma, and explained the decision “I feel passionate about Roma”.

The Sheikh was announced as an investor in the Capital club on Thursday, and rumors are circulating that he’s prepared to add €100m to the transfer kitty.

“Roma are a symbol for Italy,” he told Adnkronos news agency. “We are still in the middle of negotiations and these are particularly intense days.

“I really like the team and am passionate about football and the Giallorossi. My passion for Roma certainly pushed me towards making this step.

“The first thing one things about when mentioning Italy is Roma.”

The Sheik is just a poor man who lives in central Italy. If you can understand some Italian, I suggest you take a look at what the Italian websites say about him. Apparently, he lives in a small town near Perugia. The apartment where he lives is not owned but rented, I reckon few hundreds Euros a month. His wife works in the town center, and his son is a Carabiniere (Policeman). How come a billionaire send his wife and son to work for a thousand Euros per month? Therefore, the management of Rome doesn’t know, or knows everything but pretends not to know that the elusive Sheikh has no money in order to increase Roma share prices.
