Matej Vydra’s future will be decided at the end of the season with a number of clubs courting the Watford loanee.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the 21-year-old, who  was voted Championship Player of the Season, but it seems more likely he will return to parent club Udinese.

“So far he has scored 22 goals and was voted the best player in the Championship,” his agent Ondrej Chovanec told Tuttoudinese.it.

“He showed what he can do and is a great player. He is still under contract with Udinese for another two years.

“He arrived in Udine aged 18 and improved a great deal. Francesco Guidolin really helped him in his growth, while he also worked well with Antonio Di Natale and Alexis Sanchez.

“I have an excellent rapport with the Pozzo family. We met in March and agreed to make any decision after the end of the season.

“We need to find a solution that is best for the club and the boy. Both Udinese and Watford are doing very well, so we’ll see.”

newspapers are looking for rumours to fill up column inches with already.
happens every year so until it is official I’ll stay away from speculation and non-stories.

Hilarious, Vydra hadn’t scored since Febuary, over 9weeks 0 goals! Not a word about Vydra.

He then scores a couple & everyone is talking about him going to every club in the world. Poor!
