Gregory van der WielInter have confirmed that they are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain for right-back Gregory van der Wiel.

The news comes only a day after the Dutchman claimed that he had not received any contact from the Nerazzurri.

“We are having an open discussion with PSG over van der Wiel,” Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio said at a press conference.

“We are talking about a loan, so we’ll see.”

Ausilio also commented on the deadlock between Inter and Juventus regarding the transfer of Bianconeri right wing-back Mauricio Isla.

“We are negotiating with Juve, but everyone is sticking to their guns. They have one valuation of the player, we have another.”

“There are no deadlines but we are still looking around, both in Italy and abroad.”

The Beneamata sporting director also talked down the potential signings of Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan and Basel defender Aleksandar Dragovic.

“Nainggolan could be possible but only after selling someone.”

“[Dragovic] is a player who we are following but at the moment we are covered in that position.”
