AC Milan have set their sights on signing Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul for the January transfer window.
The Rossoneri consider the 25-year-old Dutchman as the perfect candidate to strike a balance between youth and experience and for the club’s medium-term future.
According to The Sun, Milan have earmarked a January bid for the player, who would not be cup-tied for the Champions League.
Krul has been a mainstay and one of the top performers for the Magpies over the last few seasons, especially in the 2011-12 season when he helped Newcastle to a fifth-place finish.
The Dutchman is under contract with Newcastle until 2017.
No Chance Milan can afford him with Ashley’s prices. Milan can have Rob Elliot though.
