AC Milan are looking at the prospect of replacing manager Massimillano Allegri after approaching Andre Villas-Boas with the opportunity of managing the Italian giants.

The former Tottenham Hotspur coach was sacked by the London side during this season’s Premier League after their 5-0 loss to Liverpool and could take the top job at the Rossoneri before the start of the next season.

According to English newspaper the Daily Mirror, AC Milan are looking at Andre Villas-Boas to take over the reigns at the San Siro after the Portuguese manager had been contacted by Milan officials about his services and the possibility of replacing current head coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Vills-Boas has also been tracked by English side West Brom Albion with the possibility of taking their vacant position and becoming manager but he rejected the chance to speak to the club.

I’m inclined to think that this would be a terrible move by Milan. Even though Prandelli might be going to Juventus if Conte takes up his position as Italy coach, it’d be wiser to wait for him to become available or to bring in Seedorf or Inzaghi than employ AVB
