Lazio have announced the signing of Chelsea’s Gael Kakuta on loan until the end of the season.
Both clubs announced the deal via their official websites.
A statement on the Chelsea official website read: “Gael Kakuta has today (Friday) completed a loan move to Lazio until the end of the season.”
Kakuta, 22, had previously been on loan with Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem since August 2012, following similar spells with Dijon, Bolton Wanderers and Fulham.
The short-term deal for the winger comes after the Biancocelesti confirmed the signing of Portuguese international striker Helder Postiga from Valencia on Thursday.
The club have recently lost influential midfielder Hernanes, 28, to domestic rivals Inter and sit 10th in Serie A.
