Inter are trying to convince Liverpool to let Lucas Leiva join the San Siro club.

Lucas has fallen out of favour at Liverpool this season, starting just 11 Premier League games, and would be open to a move away from Anfield.

According to Sport Italia, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio is in England to try and secure an initial deal move, with option to buy for €10 million in the summer.

New Inter coach Roberto Mancini is keen to add depth to his squad and sees Lucas as a perfect addition to Inter, though he may face competition from Napoli as Rafa Benitez is a keen admirer of the player.

Ausilio is also hoping to offload striker Pablo Osvaldo to Premier League side QPR.

Whaaaa? Lucas isn’t “out of favour” at Liverpool He’s the linchpin of Liverpool’s recent 10 game unbeaten run and he’s not transferring anywhere. Sorry Inter fans. You got Shaqiri. You’re not getting Lucas.

    And thanks for Coutinho!

Lucas should not leave…BR need to be careful since he claim that some player hate coming to Anfield, those that can perform should remain until we have better replacement…up Liverpool.
