He just cannot stop talking about it. AC Milan’s Adriano Galliani has spoken again about last weekend’s defeat to Juventus – this time to claim that he was very happy with their display.
There seems to be something about Galliani and the Bianconeri that triggers this fixation with the fixture, as his infamous Sulley Muntari ghost goal on his mobile phone scenario of 2012 is evidence of.
However, in his latest interview with Gazzetta dello Sport he has directed discussion away from the offside controversy, to give his thoughts on Milan’s performance, saying: “With ‘Pippo’, we analysed the performance of the team. Against Juventus, we saw a proud Milan that made me and the president happy.
“We were suffering from numerous absences but still tried to play in an attacking manner. Nobody is happy about losing, but it was a good Milan and the team did not play badly.
“It was an away game against the league leaders and the situation was complicated due to injuries but the general response for us was not negative. Now we must all continue working hard. We are all fighting for the same thing.”
