Juventus’ Marco Motta has terminated his contract with immediate effect, leaving the player free to join another club.

The 28-year-old right back had not featured for the Bianconeri at all this season and had been allowed to depart the club during January,  in the process becoming a last minute transfer target for Parma before the transfer deadline expired on Monday night.

Tuttomercatoweb broke the story that the player had his contract terminated, and now as a free agent he is still able to sign for another club up until the end of February.

The once-capped Italy international signed for Juventus in 2010, he initially signed on loan before the Bianconeri signed Motta outright for around €4 million the following season.
